Berøre landskap/Touching Landscape er en utstilling med kunstnere som deltok på Touching Landscape; Transfers and Impressions, en workshop som Tou Trykk arrangerte i juni måned i 2018. Workshop´en ble ledet av kunstnerene Alva Mooses og Claudia Cortinez, begge nå bosatt i New York City, USA. De arbeider i et krysningsfelt mellom grafikk,
foto og skulptur og har undervist og hatt lignende prosjekter i blant annet New York og Buenos Aires.
Utstillingen skulle opprinnelig ha åpnet 16. juni i New York City på galleriet The Front Art Space i Tribeca. På grunn av Covid 19 ble arrangementet utsatt og vi flyttet like godt arrangementet til vårt eget galleri, ARKIVET og BRUKSROMMET på Tou.
En av hovedmålsetningene til Tou Trykk er å ha fokus på utforsking i grafikk. Touching Landscape; Transfers and Impressions var med på å realisere dette. Kurset hadde fokus på forholdet mellom grafikk, foto og skulptur og ga
en eksperimentell og utvidet tilnærming til grafikk som metode for blant annet skulpturelle verk. De 11 deltakende kunstnerene fikk anledning til fordypning i og utforskning av grafikken sine grenser.
Verkene i utstillingen kan ses på som en videreutvikling av tema som ble introdusert på kurset, der hver enkelt benytter teknikker og tema alt etter sitt ståsted som kunstner. Alle deltakerene er representert, og verk av de enkelte er kuratert av Solveig Landa.
Berøre landskap/Touching Landscape is an exhibition featuring the work of artists who participated in the workshop, Touching Landscape: Transfers and Impressions, conducted at Tou Trykk in June of 2018. The workshop was led by Alva Mooses and Claudia Cortinez, both artists based in New York City, USA. Mooses and Cortinez are interdisciplinary artists and educators who work with printed media, photography and sculpture and have been involved in similar projects in New York and Buenos Aires.

The exhibition was originally set to open June 16th in New York City at Front Art Space in Tribeca. Due to Covid-19, the event was postponed and relocated to our own gallery, ARKIVET and BRUKSROMMET at Tou.
One of the main goals of Tou Trykk is to focus on the investigations of printed media. Touching Landscape; Transfers and Impressions helped to realize this. The course focused on the intersections of printmaking, photography, and sculpture and provided an experimental approach to printmaking in order to create sculptural and experiential responses to the artists` environments. The 11 participating artists in the workshop were given the opportunity to delve into and expand the boundaries of their graphic explorations.
The works in the exhibition can be seen as a further development of the conceptual and technical exercises that were introduced in the course, where each individual employs processes and themes according to their personal explorations as an artist. All participants are represented in the exhibition curated by Solveig Landa.
